Temporary Lifeline System

Temporary Lifeline System

When it comes to construction and roofing safety, a temporary lifeline system is an important component for ensuring the safety of workers. A temporary lifeline system is a fall protection solution that is often used in construction, roofing, and other industries where workers are at risk of falling from heights.

The primary purpose of a temporary lifeline system is to provide workers with a secure anchorage point to which they can attach their personal fall arrest systems. This helps to prevent falls and minimize the risk of serious injuries or fatalities. Temporary lifeline systems are commonly used when working at heights where traditional guardrails or barriers may not be feasible.

There are several types of temporary lifeline systems, including horizontal lifelines and vertical lifelines. Horizontal lifelines are typically used in situations where workers need to move horizontally along a surface, such as a roof or a bridge. Vertical lifelines, on the other hand, are used when workers need to move up and down, such as when working on a tall structure or tower.

AE 321

Horizontal anchoring rope (horizontal safety rope) with adjustable length. A transport bag is enclosed in the set with the device. The device is used to provide protection during works that require frequent movement in a horizontal plane.

The AE 321 device is intended for simultaneous protection of 1 to 3 people. It can work with the set EN 345/355 and EN 353-2, EN 360. As intermediate points you can use snap locks that meet the load requirements of 14.5 kN.

HORIZONTAL LIFELINE ABSORBINATOR KIT

The TSS Fall Protection Absorbinator Lifeline Kit is the ultimate in horizontal lifeline systems.

The Absorbinator is an energy absorber, used in combination with two anchorage connectors, which functions to absorb and reduce impact forces resulting from the energy generated by a fall. This kit includes a variety of equipment configuration options, including cross arm straps, CB Anchors, column and ceiling mounting functionality, and more.

The maximum length of any Absorbinator horizontal lifeline system is 100 ft (30m) 2 Absorbinators are required for any system between 60 (18m) to 100 feet in length each Absorbinator system is designed for use by up to 2 workers in Fall Arrest.
