Safe Working Solutions, Working At Height Specialists

Gotcha 2

Fall arrest lanyards, blocks and systems stop workers falling to the ground and are essential work at height equipment. However, the problem is not solved only by arresting the fall, the casualty may be suspended out of reach, injured and in need of rescuing to a place of safety for urgent medical care.

Lighter more compact Rescue Kit:

  • Improved ergonomic bag design is easier to carry, especially where access is awkward for example through hatches and hooped ladders, and in confined spaces.
Workers are more likely to carry it with them ready for immediate deployment.

Improved pulley system:

  • Better control during lowering – less risk of bouncing the casualty on the way down.
  • More efficient lifting – easier to rescue a casualty larger than the rescuer.
  • Increased lift height – making recovery back up to the platform from where the casualty fell easier.

Variants(key specs):

  • 50 m (6.2 kg rope 50 m; max lowering distance high anchor 16 m, low anchor 12 m)
  • 100 m (9.5 kg; high 33 m, low 25 m)
  • 150 m (12.8 kg; high 50 m, low 37 m).
  • Ultra-lightweight kit for remote rescue of casualties suspended from fall arrest equipment.
  • Intuitive to use by the casualty’s co-workers, with a colour-coded kit for simplicity.
  • Can be used for lifting or lowering rescues (“rescue in either direction”).
  • Pre-assembled/ready to use; no assembly required, which supports faster deployment in stressful situations.
  • Remote attachment allows the rescuer to reach the length of a fully deployed fall arrest lanyard from a point of safety.
  • “No cut operation” and the process is designed so it’s “not possible to drop the casualty” (casualty is raised to release the original attachment).
  • Enhanced pulley system improves lifting efficiency and gives better control during lowering.
  • Compact, ergonomic bag design for improved access (e.g., through hatches and hooped ladders) and easier carrying.
  • Traceability and compliance labeling: individual serial number, label protection foil, individual certificate, multilingual manual.
  • Standards (Norms): EN341:2011 Type 2 Class D; EN1496:2017 Class A.
  • Lifespan: 10 years.
  • Maximum user weight: 140 kg.
  • Main material: Polyamide.
  • Colour: Red.
  • Environmental sealing: Yes.
  • Variants (key specs): 50 m (6.2 kg rope 50 m; max lowering distance high anchor 16 m, low anchor 12 m), 100 m (9.5 kg; high 33 m, low 25 m), 150 m (12.8 kg; high 50 m, low 37 m).
  • Use case: rescue of a worker/casualty left suspended after a fall has been arrested by fall arrest equipment (lanyards/blocks/systems).
  • Operation modes: raise the casualty to safety or lower them to safety, depending on site constraints and rescue plan.
  • Typical environments: situations with awkward access (hatches, hooped ladders) and confined spaces where a compact carried kit is beneficial.
